The day was beautiful and the sky was blue and without a cloud and Theresa smiled and sat down by the lake and listened to its soft noises and wondered what everyone was up to.She looked around a bit more and smiled a bit more. She sighed softly and layed her back against the grass and looked up at the sky.
Damn its a nice day today and I'm here alone now.I wish Andreas was here and would make me laugh.I miss my family , i wish they were here. she licked her lips a bit and sighed softly and tucked some of her hair behind her ear."aah .. some sunshine and the lake.all i need " she said softly to herself and closed her eyes a bit and relaxed

Taking his break from his usual lesson planning schedule, Professor Karpov decided to spend some time outside. He did look like he needed some fresh air. All those hours of thinking up 'innovative' and 'dynamic' ways to enhance his Potions class was not exactly a stroll in the park for him. He didn't even know why he was changing the course outline that he had been using for years. It had worked well, after all. As usual, he was unconscious of his own tendency to be too conscious of what other professors were doing. He didn't want to be outdone by the newer, younger and 'more innovative' ones.
As he was passing by the lake, he spotted a figure stretched out on the grass. It was only when he was a few meters away that he recognized it--- her as a student of his. A Slytherin. He raised an eyebrow and walked towards the girl. Theresa Hellsing. He never had trouble remembering the names of the Slytherins. He favoured them, not only because he was the Slytherin Head of House, but also because their ideals were more or less similar to his.
"Miss Hellsing," the professor spoke as he sat down on the grass, a few feet from the girl. "I see you've chosen to take advantage of this... pleasant.. weather." The faintest of grins appeared on his lips. "Do you mind if I join you for a bit?"

Looking at the man whom she quickly discovered was her head of house,Jarek Karpov. She admired the man for his skills in potions and the fact he bothered to be head of house for slytherin. It could`nt be easy to run a house as well as he did.He spoke to her and tough she would often keep her tongue she would not be rude to her head of house
"oh yes i have .. I see that it has even gotten you sir out and about "she said softly with a smile and looked at him.He was an attractive man for his age." i don`t mind at all sir.. a bit of company would do me well"she said with a slight shyness to her voice as she spoke and looked into those dark brown eyes that had such a power over one,She swore to herself that one could get lost in them and never find a way out

The professor grinned at the girl's reply then gazed out unto the lake. He was usually the type who stayed indoors, but there were times like this when he just couldn't resist being outside. And what better way to spend it than with one of his Slytherins? Sometimes he felt like he was one of them, even though he was twice or even three times older than them. At times, he couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like if he had studied at Hogwarts himself.
"Have you signed up for your classes yet?" he asked, clearly trying to sound more professor-like. He would actually rather talk about anything else at the moment. He turned to Theresa and smiled. "Seventh Year Potions is bound to be very interesting."

Theresa looked at her professor yet again, she smiled a bit as he seemed more relaxed now than he was in his classes."oh damn .. "she cursed as she had forgotten to sign up for some of her classes. She was bound to get in trouble for that she assumed but perhaps he would be so kind and give her some spare time to sign up for those classes.
"Potions ..sir i have found always to be interesting and more useful to me than silly charms and history..but i guess they too have their use in life."she said softly and hoped she could sway the conversation away from school."sir .. are you looking forward to the holidays? "she asked softly and smiled one of the rare but honest smiles that few got to see.
