ParaPara... What?? One thing: this isn't about that Japanese dance craze.
'ParaPara' in our terms can be divided into two words that describe the nature of this RPG.
The first 'Para' means 'parallel'. This RPG is set in a parallel universe. Harry, Ron, Hermione, Snape, or Malfoy may exist, but they do not necessarily (and most likely do not) lead the same lives as they do in the books. Chances are some of them aren't even Wizards or have never even heard of Hogwarts. Therefore, I do not expect to see applications for any canon characters. (More on this in the board rules.)
The second 'Para' means 'paradox'. This RPG revolves around many absurdities and complexities or things that simply boggle one's mind. The incorporation of paradoxes in your character's plot is, of course, up to you, the role-player.
However, I cannot deny that I chose this name because I simply liked the sound of 'ParaPara Hogwarts'. I honestly don't even want to stick with my own definition (except for the no-canons rule, because I'm really sticking with that). How your character lives up to this fun-sounding name is in your hands. These boards are, after all, intended for having fun (while obeying the rules, of course).
